Themes That Pull at Me​

Consciousness and Agency — What does it mean to be a conscious agent in an age of algorithms? I've written about consciousness as bandwidth, the inversion of freedom, and the unknowable threshold of AGI. These ideas land on Agency + Algorithm when they're ready, and in raw form on my Musings page.

Learning Mechanics — Not just what to learn, but how learning works at the cognitive level. My M.Ed. in Curriculum Design & Instruction gave me the vocabulary; teaching teams on four continents gave me the practice.

Knowledge Transfer — How do you take a complex system and make it teachable to someone who's never seen it before? This is my professional craft and my intellectual hobby.

AI and the Human Experience — Where does the human end and the tool begin? I explore this practically through my homelab and philosophically through my writing.
